This season's to die for Gucci accessories
Gucci is known as one of the most powerful fashion brands of
the moment, and it’s no wonder: season after season, they manage to bring
something new, anticipating the trends and the fashionista’s needs. The
fall-winter 2013 season is no exception: you could get your whole wardrobe at

This fall, rich colors and luxuriant details are a must at
the Italian fashion house. Straight, simple silhouettes are complemented by
precious textures, chunky metallic accessories, which results in an overall
elegance that is irresistible. The Gucci woman is wearing burgundy, pink and
fuchsia tones this season, paired with the designer’s favorite neutral: classic
black. The whole collection is influenced by the ‘40s and the ‘70s, taking the
sexiest staples of the decades and making them new again.
Starting from the top, the “Sophisticated Modern sunglasses”
pictured here are a great combination between Clubmasters and cat eyes, made

The metallic buckles start showing
around the waistline, being featured on the Gucci leather belt, which mixes
hardware with sex appeal. It doesn’t just mark the waist, it demands focus -
only a bold, confident woman would dare wear it.
Moving lower, we’ve got the long, suede gloves - also in
black - which are completed by metallic cuffs, worn on top. These are perfect
for wearing with capes, which leave the arms bare, and they’re as feminine as
they are retro.
The “Lady Lock Python Top Handle bag” is
a staple of the season, made with a bamboo handle, rhodium hardware and natural
moss python leather. The bag is actually a reinterpretation of a 1950s model,
and it has just enough of a retro touch.
Finally, the Kim knee boots are the epitome of
sexy: they are also made of python, and this season they’re paired with demure,
below-the-knee skirts. The long length keeps warm, but it’s also reminiscent of
dominatrix boots, which is how Gucci manages to surprise us season after
season.
